PowerProtect appliances GUI team is responsible for developing the web-based application which allows customer to manage and monitor Data Protection appliances through the web browser.

As a Software Principal Engineer, you will be responsible for developing sophisticated systems and software based on the customers business goals, needs and general business environment creating software solutions.
**You will:**
+ Design, develop, and maintain a highly scalable and reliable management software using latest Web technologies.
+ Participate and contribute to architecture discussions and reviews.
+ Lead feature/component development in an Agile environment.
+ Lead feature or component milestone demos and constructively weigh and integrate feedback from Product Owners, UX Designers, and customers.
+ Embrace and implement modern front-end technologies and frameworks.
+ Work in a distributed-team environment and collaborate effectively with other development teams, architects, Product Owners, QA, and customer support.

**Essential Requirements**
+ 5 years of front-end development experience
+ 3 years minimum experience with JavaScript libraries and framework
+ Proven expertise in building Single Page Applications using Angular 10+, TypeScript, State Management using NgRx
+ Experience building/using component Libraries like Angular Material UI, VMWare Clarity or equivalent.
+ Expert proficiency in HTML, CSS, SASS and web application development.
+ Knowledge of micro frontend architecture, I18N and Accessibility guidelines will be a plus.
+ Familiar with cross-browser issues, secure web standards and best practices and emerging web technologies
+ Knowledge of building micro services using Java/Go and in-depth knowledge of OOD and OOP
**Desirable Requirements**
+ Familiar with Kubernetes/Docker, Web services, RDBMS/SQL, RESTful APIs and JSON
+ B.E./B. Tech/ MCA with at least 8+ years of experience or M.E./M. Tech in Computer Science with similar experience.
+ Excellent analytical, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills and ability to pick up new technologies quickly
+ Excellent verbal and written communication skills
+ Strong experience working in distributed teams using SCRUM/Agile development methodologies
+ Knowledge of storage system technology, system management/system administration UI a plus
