Container and Orchestration Developer/Architect Security
The Role
We are seeking a highly-skilled developerrchitect to help drive the enablement of AMD EPYC security technologies in workload orchestration environments like Kubernetes and Open Stack.
In this role, you will contribute as a software developer, technical subject matter expert, and will be an integral part in the Software and Application Engineering team. You will work closely with a local team of software developers, the open-source community, cloud vendors, customers, and ISVs.
Preferred Experience
Strong experience with open-source virtualization (KVM, QEMU, libvirt, OVMF) and containerization
Strong experience with Kubernetes, OpenStack, OpenShift or other similar workload orchestration environments
Experience engaging the open-source community contributing to software projects
Deep knowledge of computer security technologies and processes
Able to research, architect and drive complex technical solutions, consisting of multiple technologies
Proficiency with programming languages such as C/C++/Rust/etc.
Deep knowledge of cloud services and deploying/testing workloads on AWS, Azure and other cloud-based IaaS or PaaS
Technical issue management and product engineering feedback and influencer to for making AMD technology better
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills with experience in writing white papers, interacting with customers, partners and representing AMD technology to the cloud vendors
Academic Credentials
Min BS or MS in computer science, computer engineering, or a related technical field
