Better requires process discipline and simplification
You will analyze needs and requirements to recommend and design appropriate database solutions for cloud databases and innovate and explore new technologies with proof of concept prototyping for scalability, reliability, and reusability. You will work as Database Reliability Engineer to ensure databases are performing, optimized and scalable.
You will proactively monitor on-prem or cloud databases and perform optimization of database to ensure best throughput from the database.
To perform this role you need experience and expertise in working with on-premises and Cloud-based relational and NoSql databases and 12+ years of software development experience. You need experience in managing and administrating Oracle or Postgres, NoSQL databases(Couchbase or Cassandra or Mongo DB) for medium to large systems (with no downtime) & Scaling of relational for relational or NoSQL databases. You must have expertise in cloud architecture related to data storage and has track record of improving database performance. You should be aware of the data modeling tool such as ER Win , Oracle SQL Developer Data Modeler etc. You must have experience on Unix shell script and must have experience on using the CLI interface of databases and automation.
