If so, Guardian is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect to define and build responsive application design and strategies that provides the agility to adapt to changing business and organization needs.
You are:
A self-starter who can work independently with the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment and collaborate closely with business partners, application architects, engineers, & developers across the organization to ensure achievement of Business and IT goals and objectives.
You will:
Work closely with Business and Applications architects to ensure documented prescriptive blueprints and security best practices are followed and enforced during app design and implementation.
Collaborate Participate in planning and designing of the IT Solutions in alignment to business and organization objectives. Collaboratively work with Subject matter experts from different domains including security, Cloud, network, and other architecture domains to design the final solution.
Adapt adjust to new, different, or changing circumstances while still ensuring that the overall objective is achieved.
Understand
Business Architecture application of architecture principles and techniques to the design of business operations, including business capabilities and business processes, people, technology, and information that enable them.
Integration Architecture design methods and protocols for communication and interoperability between disparate information systems.
Application Architecture Architect and design new cloud and distributed solutions as well as refactor existing solutions
Project Governance ability to review, manage, and ensure the adoption of decisions at the project level that are consistent with enterprise architecture principles, strategies, and standards.
Architecture Documentation Develops and upkeeps new standards and blueprints working in collaboration with other architecture teams
You have:
Bachelors degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline preferred, Masters degree desirable.
3+ years experience in design, development and implementation software architecture and technology solutions
Strong experience in solutions design and implementation, using architectural models and frameworks.
Demonstrated experience in AWS, other cloud Platforms, Middleware technologies such as event streaming, event driven architecture, applying security design/principles, Java, J2EE frameworks, Workflow Systems, DevSecOps tools, Tomcat, SpringBoot
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Databases, Middleware, Micro-services, Web services, RESTful APIs, Application development platforms, High Availability designs and technologies
Systems integration experience in a diverse multi-platform environment
Excellent written and verbal communications; effective interpersonal skills; strong formal presentation abilities
Knowledge and Experience in Insurance and Investment Technologies is a plus.
AWS Cloud Certification would be desirable
