**Sodexo Corporate Services** is hiring a **Sous Chef** at **Cafe St Barts** in **New York, NY** ! This is a great opportunity to continue to build your culinary portfolio with a strong pathway for growth in a large guest-focused restaurant venue!
**_Enjoy your weekends free! This position will primarily work Monday to Friday with most holidays off!_**

**The successful candidate will:**
+ participate actively in day to day food service production
+ be responsible for purchasing, menu compliance, inventory, and ordering;
+ ensure Sodexo Culinary standards including recipe compliance and food quality are implemented;
+ have the ability and willingness to develop and motivate team members to embrace culinary innovations;
+ ensure food safety, sanitation and workplace safety standard compliance;
+ have working knowledge of automated food inventory, ordering, production and management systems (Excel Spreadsheets).

+ 3-5 years experience in a supervisory culinary role, with the demonstrated ability to stay current with new culinary trends;

**Position Summary**
Leads food preparation at one station of a foodservice operation (i.e., salads, soups). May supervise less than two full time employees.

Basic Education Requirement - High School Diploma, GED or equivalent
