What You Will Do Evaluate and treat patients requiring speech-language therapy. Perform therapy interventions utilizing standard therapy techniques and skills as appropriate for the condition of the patient. Educate and counsels patient and family regarding treatment plans. Maintain clinical records and follows performance improvement recommendations. Plan and/or assist with patient discharge from speech therapy services. Provide information regarding appropriate support programs. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. American Heart Association or American Red Cross accepted. Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist credentialed from the Indiana Board of Speech-Language Pathology Audiology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required. Or Temporary Permit obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. If hired with Temporary Permit, must pass boards and obtain SLP credential within 4 Months (120 days) of hire date or job transfer date. Education: Bachelor's degree required. Master's degree preferred. Additional Preferences Interest or experience with inpatient rehabilitation preferred. CFY candidates considered.
