Essential Functions of the job:
Responsible for the on-time execution and oversight of long-term electric drive systems motor and actuator controller engineering projects. You will perform control account management (CAM) activities for assigned projects or relevant subproject segments. You will plan, estimate, and schedule engineering work. You will collect and present earned value tracking status for assigned projects. You will generate program change requests for new project subtasks and tracking for program budget changes. You request resources for motor and actuator controller project tasks. You drive/track engineering project teams for on-time milestone completion.

Must Have:
BS EE or Systems Engineering or Control Systems or Computer Engineering and Project Engineering
7+ years experience\t
US Citizenship or Permanent Resident Alien (green card) required due to export restrictions
We value:
Project engineering experience estimating, planning, scheduling, and implementing budget control for engineering work
Knowledge of motor controllers, actuators, or high-power power electronics
Experience with root cause and corrective action process
Ability to produce white papers to document findings, and results of trade studies
Creation of PowerPoint presentations for peer reviews, team meetings, program design reviews, and phase gate activities
Knowledge of systems and project engineering best practices, systems integration, verification of requirements, and validation of system functionality
Basic understanding level of circuit design, circuit card building, test and failure analysis
Familiarity with aircraft and aerospace testing standards, such as DO-178, DO-160
