Sr. Advanced Software Engineer for Hand Held Products Inc. in Fort Mill,\rSC
Responsibilities:
Act as customer facing interface taking a close look at the issues reported by customers.
Visit customers to support deployment and obtain instant feedback, and understand field use cases.
Leverage the expertise of the Transportation & Logistics (T&L) domain and enable opportunities for integration with partner applications beyond the current customer.
Leverage expertise on DOT (Department of Transportation) Compliance regulations in building with Connected Driver solution.
Work closely with marketing to understand the requirements and prepare an action plan for development.
Responsible for ensuring the service€™s stability and uptime, as well as infrastructure that host the solution.
Leverage experience with remote device management for AIDC (Automatic Identification and Data Collection) products in developing T&L applications.
Participate in CCB (Change control board) meeting with Marketing and QA (Quality Assurance) teams to plan the release of products.
Standardize the product development process using Honeywell Iterative Process, and Honeywell Operating System best practices.

YOU MUST HAVE:
Qualified applicants must have a\rBachelor€™s degree or foreign equivalent in Engineering, Computer Science,\rInformation Technology or a related field, and 7 years of experience in the job\roffered or acceptable alternate occupation. Full term of experience must\rinclude: relative software experience; and hands on development of Automatic\rIdentification and Data Collection (AIDC) space. Must possess five (5) years of\rexperience in the following: hands on development experience with device cross\rplatform utilizing Xamarin, CouchBase, and XFusion frameworks; mobile device\rmanagement solutions; hands on development of Connected Driver Solution with\rLess Than Truckload space; and hands on development experience with cloud\rplatform software solutions. Must possess three (3) years of experience in the\rfollowing: hands on development of Automatic on-board recording devices (AOBRD)\rfor DOT compliance regulations. Up to 10% domestic travel required.\rTelecommuting permitted up to two (2) times per week.
