We Are Hiring We are hiring a full-time Sr. Ambulatory Quality Business Analyst. This is a remote opportunity. The Ascension Data Sciences Institute (ADSI) was created in July 2019 with the mission of supporting Ascension in achieving its Quadruple Aim with uniquely skilled, high-performing associates who develop analyses, models, and applications to enable Ascension in providing higher value healthcare and making strategic decisions. ADSI is comprised of 6 domains addressing 1) Clinical quality and patient safety; 2) Health Economics and Clinical Outcomes; 3) Strategic Operations and Financial Analytics; 4) Actuarial and Managed Care Analytics; 5) Registry Abstraction Healthcare Solutions; and 6) Healthcare Data Intelligence. #ADSI What You Will Do The Sr. Ambulatory Quality Business Analyst will be on the Patient and Community Risk Analytics team. In this position, you will be involved in designing analytics and reporting to assess, monitor, and operationally improve trends in the overall health and well-being of the populations we serve. You will be expected to work with data management teams to compile datasets from a variety of sources, aggregate performance at various levels, and develop visualizations. Your efforts will directly impact population health outcomes. As a liaison between analytics and population health management teams, you will need to have expertise in creating customer-facing reports and self-service visualizations. Responsibilities: Work with National leaders to define KPIs, coordinate procurement of data, design visualizations, and support integration of new analytic tools into operational project plans. Support National and Local leadership decision making by developing key insights and actionable recommendations through data analysis. Conduct root cause analyses and deep-dives to determine practices and interventions that lead to the best outcomes (whether quality, improved operations, etc.). Lead high-priority analytics initiatives including work in Population Health, Behavioral Health, Palliative Care, and Patient Outreach. What You Will Need Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Bachelor's degree required. Work Experience: 3 years of experience preferred. Additional Preferences Education: Master's degree preferred in the area of Health Informatics, Public Health, Healthcare Data Science, Healthcare Information Technology Experience: Strong SQL and Tableau/visualization skills. Experience working with EMR Billing and Clinical data. Experience with BigQuery and Google Cloud Platform a plus.
