Your day to day
Responsible for setting, championing, and ensuring development performance standards and for ensuring development teams conform to software development best practices and IHG policies and standards.
Design and develop real-time applications for use in a multi-platform environment
Own Front-end Architecture and Detail Solutions implemented on Adobe Experience Manager
Work on generic web applications on Adobe Experience Manager, which can be utilized for easy accessibility and component development.
Work on modernization of a legacy and outsourced UI.
Define and Restructure code base for internalization and localized sites.
Implement complex programs and lead/coordinate project/program and systems documentation according to established IT standards.
Identify and assist in the resolution of project/program dependencies and sequencing of deliverables.
Act as subject matter expert in focus area
Key Shared Accountabilities:
Strong applied knowledge of and extensive experience with related software architectures and development methodologies.
Knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and technical design techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Owns:
Experience applying software development approaches including MVC event-driven using AJAX, JSON, and XML
Responsible for checking cross-browsers compatibility.
Proficiency with UX and web usability best practices
Experience with high traffic and global websites
Experience managing daily communication with offshore development teamin
Skilled at collaboration with members team members and business partners
Flexible and able to deal with frequently shifting priorities
Troubleshooting and problem-solving capabilities
Own front-end architecture and detail solutions.
What we need from you
Education:
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in a relevant field of work or an equivalent combination of education and work-related experience
Experience
7+ years of progressive work-related experience, with at least 5+ years of Angular
Technical Skills and Knowledge
Strong applied knowledge of and extensive experience with related software architectures and development methodologies.
Knowledge and understanding of structured analysis and technical design techniques.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good interpersonal and communication skills
