About the role:

The Sr. Product Manager is responsible for driving product advancement and adoption of Gartner Digital Markets' intent data offering - Buyer Discovery. Buyer Discovery uses the digital sessions of over 9M unique visitors per month to predict prospective future customers for software vendors. Your role as Sr. Product Manager will be to advance Buyer Discovery by developing and maintaining integrations that embed our intent data within software vendors' mar-tech stack (i.e., CRM, Marketing Automation, and Account-Based Marketing technologies). This role sits within an entrepreneurial and fast-paced team and provides significant opportunities for professional growth.

What you will do:

  • Become an expert on Buyer Discovery - its source data, its intent algorithms, and the challenges it helps software providers solve.

  • Inform Buyer Discovery's product roadmap with competitive intelligence, customer feedback, and input from internal Sales and Service teams

  • Develop requirements for new features and integrations, or enhancements to existing functionality, while partnering with engineers to bring them to market.

  • Partner with marketing leaders to develop go-to-market launch plans and manage deliverables to internal stakeholders

  • Partner with product marketing to build technical and customer enablement documentation to drive adoption

  • Partner with Marketing and Sales Operations to train frontline reps on existing and new functionality to ensure understanding and adoption

  • Triage and address technical issues, as needed

  • Contribute to the strategy of Buyer Discovery and Gartner Digital Markets' monetization effort at large

What you will need:

  • 8+ years of experience in product development

  • 8+ years of managing software development projects and development teams

  • Experience building data-driven, analytic-based products

  • Proven commercial success in a product(s) you contributed to

  • Knowledge of marketing and/or sales processes and tools such as CRMs, marketing automation, campaign tools and Account-Based Marketing systems. Some examples include products such as Marketo, Salesforce, Hubspot, Demandbase, 6sense, Twilio, Pardot, and Eloqua

  • Understanding of intent data and its uses (e.g., account and/or lead scoring) are preferred

  • Experience in building and maintaining APIs and/or integrations is preferred

  • Ability to define technical requirements and functional definitions

  • Ability to define, prioritize, and maintain a product roadmap

  • Experience coordinating and running Scrum teams; knowledge of agile methodologies

  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills, as well as excellent organizational, interpersonal, and team skills

  • Proficiency with relational database querying languages (e.g., SQL)

  • Experience bringing technologies to market including completely new products, new features, feature enhancements, platform migrations, and integrations

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
