The Products & Services team within Enterprise Digital Technology (EDT) provides core experience frameworks for Security, UI/UX Design and Customer Interactions. These components are built in support of Application Development teams across the organization delivering Digital Solutions for our Customers.




As a Senior Software Engineer you will be involved during all phases of Application development from ideation to design, development, documentation and ongoing supporting.




This position requires an individual with strong analytical, programming, problem solving, organizational, and technical writing skills who must be able to work on complex projects with minimal guidance and be able to adapt quickly to new challenges and expectations.

Responsibilities:




  • Collaborate with technology, architecture, product management and design teams to drive outcomes with focus on enriched customer experience



  • Foster an iterative/Agile environment



  • Full stack development - adhere to the principles CI/CD as you develop, build, test, and deploy code



  • Support the features in all environments and provide/maintain supporting documentation




Qualifications:




  • At least 5 years of Software Development experience



  • B.A./B.S. in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or related fields



  • Must have at least 3 years hands on development experience in five or more of the following: Java, Spring Boot, APIs, Microservices, Node.js, Python, JavaScript, Angular, React, jQuery, HTML5, CSS



  • Experience with service implementation using Java, Spring Boot framework. Experience with developing true microservices and AWS highly desirable



  • Experience with containerized applications and container technologies such as Docker, Kubernetes, and Amazon ECS



  • Experience with DevSecOps, CI/CD methodologies, Jenkins



  • Understanding of core AWS services, uses, and basic AWS architecture best practices



  • Understanding of cloud databases and NoSQL concepts (DynamoDB, Aurora)



  • Proficient in web development technologies such as React, Angular and JavaScript is a plus



  • Strong written and verbal communication skills



  • Able to work well in a diverse and geo-distributed team, with strong work ethics and ownership mindset of work being done
