PRIMARY PURPOSE:
Under minimal direction, this position is responsible for the development, implementation and daily operations of all interfaces. Responsible for designing and developing enterprise systems-level software and providing systems analysis, program design, coding, and documentation.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs all assigned duties in compliance with internal SOPs and external regulations. Brings compliance issues to the attention of management.
Assures quality customer service to all customers.
Maintains good attendance and punctuality per the absence policy.
Assesses business needs and innovates integration solutions for application and support tools.
Oversees that standard database coding techniques, standards, and data retrieval methodologies are utilized.
Plans integration and directs implementation of database application data with other reporting sources (e.g., data warehouse, third party databases, and client reporting tools).
Oversees the coordination and implementation of upgrades of databases and applications.
Provides a strategic level of technical leadership to the database and interface team, IT, and the enterprise.
Oversees the establishment and enforcement of security standards for databases and interface.
Ensures management of interface recovery and restart procedures.
Remains abreast of changes and developments in maintains the industry. Establishes a network of professional relationships both inside and outside the corporation.
Assists in developing and monitoring assigned budgets.
Performs all other duties, at the discretion of management, as assigned.
REQUIREMENTS:
Knowledge/Education
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
Knowledge of Oracle and SQL, language, utilities, and database applications required.
Knowledge of interface development required.
Knowledge of object-oriented programming techniques, structured programming, ASP.net, VB.net, C#.net, SQL Server 14, Transact SQL query language, HL7, JavaScript, VBScript, VB 6.0, MS Access, MS Excel, XML, Iguana, EDI using ANSI standards required.
Licenses/Certifications

Experience
Five years experience with EDI, API, HL7 as well as RESTful API, JSON and an understanding of FHIR for HL7 and EDI transformations or similar interface experience, preferably in health care or related field required.
Strong knowledge of database technologies and tools including Oracle, SQL Server, and all other desired database servers required.
Intermediate to advanced knowledge of SQL required.
Familiarity with ITSM concepts and processes required.
Experience with object-oriented programming techniques and/or microservices architecture structured programming preferred.
Experience with interface engine architecture such as Corepoint, Cloverleaf, Rhapsody, Iguana preferred.
Knowledge of programming languages such as Java and Javascript preferred.

Salary Range: $86,174 - $114,192
