**Senior Product Manager**


**New York, NY / Glendale, CA**


**Flex Type Hybrid - This role is considered hybrid, which means the employee will work a portion of their time on-site from a Company designated location and the remainder of their time remotely.**


**Job Summary**


The Senior Product Manager will work on delivering exceptional user-facing features on the Marvel Unlimited app. This person will align upcoming projects to our primary business goals and KPIs. The candidate will deliver projects using data-based decisions and iterate on product features through user and A/B testing. Projects will include UX/UI enhancements, optimization, and other features to improve the user experience.


The ideal candidate has a passion for the comics and layered storytelling of the Marvel brand as well as an understanding of direct-to-consumer products, current app technology and a strong work ethic to satisfy the needs of a blockbuster franchise. This candidate must also be highly skilled at written and verbal communication and comfortable working with cross-functional teams.


**Responsibilities**


+ Responsible for leading product management activities for the Marvel Unlimited mobile app.

+ Owner of product requirements documents; a very detailed specification of product goals, flows, experiences, and designs.

+ Work closely with design, front end and backend engineers, programming & QA to deliver on business priorities on time and to the highest quality.

+ Solves problems in straightforward situations; analyzes possible solutions using technical experience, judgment, and precedents.

+ Responsible for commercialization initiatives to improve conversion, revenue, and growth of paid subscribers.

+ Performs industry research and collaborates with the design team to implement user testing to get feedback on new concepts and features.

+ Interacts with team members and peers and may interact with external peers to provide semi-routine information related to assigned tasks.

+ Assists in coordinating/tracking the work of cross-functional teams (i.e. schedules and milestones). Compiles and analyzes metrics.

+ Receives work in the form of defined tasks that sometimes require the application of independent judgment.

+ Identifies and escalates problems and roadblocks as they occur.

+ Delivers fantastic user experiences that meet or exceed business goals.


**Basic Qualifications:**


+ 5+ years of digital product management experience

+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent training or work experience

+ Able to effectively lead teams and work with multiple cross-functional departments

+ Expertise in mobile app technology, best practices, and current trends

+ Ability to access and interpret data to drive decisions. Familiarity with Adobe Analytics, mParticle, or other BI reporting tools

+ Experience with Agile product development

+ Knowledge of JIRA and other product management tools such as Confluence

+ Experience with A/B testing and optimization tools preferred

+ Proactive lead who identifies issues before they affect timelines or morale

+ Ability to adapt to highly dynamic working conditions, approaching hurdles with an opportunistic and positive outlook


**Preferred Education:**


+ Master's degree in Computer Science Preferred
