Job Description

The opportunity
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Quality Engineer to help design, build, execute and maintain technology to advance the state of testing and test automation across the organization, so that we may confidently and quickly release quality products that our customers can rely on.

Responsibilities

  • Be an advocate and mentor for quality and test engineering across the organization

  • Collaboration, coaching and mentoring Quality Engineers across multiple squads to help remove impediments, and implement best practices and a quality mindset to the organization

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain automation frameworks

  • Create, debug, execute and maintain automation test scripts

  • Pair program with software engineers to build and maintain test scripts collaboratively (functional, unit, integration, and performance)

  • Project management of new quality initiatives

What we are looking for

  • University degree in Computer Sciences/Engineering or equivalent

  • 6+ years of experience developing and maintaining test automation frameworks and technologies, such as Selenium, TestNG, Cucumber, Appium, REST Assured, WebDriverIO, CucumberJS, JMeter, Postman, TeamCity, Jenkins, Xray for JIRA and other testing frameworks and tools

  • Experience with Object Oriented Programming Language such as Java, JavaScript, Groovy, .NET, and Node.js/React

  • Experience developing and maintaining automated test frameworks with integration in a DevOps CI/CD Pipeline

  • Good understanding of cloud and containerization: AKS, InfluxDB, Docker, Helm Charts, Terraform and New Relic

  • Experience working in an Agile Squad developing test scenarios, test cases and executing automated test scripts

  • Experience developing and maintaining test data management strategy: end-to-end data identification, and synthetic test data creation across integrated applications

  • Ability to identify and implement productivity and efficiency improvements

  • Experience with Agile practices and tools such as JIRA and Confluence

  • Experience writing complex test strategies, including how to apply risk-based testing principles

  • Experience implementing Behavior Driven Development and Test-Driven Development

  • Excellent communication including effective facilitation and presentation skills

  • Strong planning, organization, risk management and problem-solving skills

  • Strong project management skills
