AMD/Xilinx Belfast is adding to its Data Center Software team. This is a fantastic opportunity for a software design engineer with a passion for algorithmic acceleration on FPGA or other architectures to join a team with access to world-class infrastructure and platforms to work on the next generation of accelerated applications and libraries.
We are recruiting for a fast learning, dynamic engineer withexperience in architecting, designing and implementing software subsystems/libraries, preferably within a Linux environment.
You'll join a software team working in financial technology and Smart networking applications on AMD/Xilinx Alveo and SmartNIC platforms, both working on the applications themselves and enhancements to the platforms to enable our customer solutions.
This position will offer a strong career path within a fast-paced environment where you will develop your skills working with AMD/Xilinx leading-edge technologies such as Vivado HLS, Ultrascale + and Versal silicon, and Alveo accelerator cards for the data centre.
Experience
Track record of embedded software system development from architecture, design, development and verification.
Expert in C/C++ programming languages.
Using multi-threaded and real-time SW Architectures.
Using a RTOS (Embedded Linux etc)
Knowledge of Embedded processors such as ARM
Experience with software development in a Linux and/or Windows environment
Experience in Python and OpenCL would be advantageous
Knowledge of high-level synthesis in C, C++ or OpenCL would be beneficial.
Self-motivated and goal driven. Capable of working alone or as part of a team.
Good oral and written communications.
Qualifications Required
Degree or better in Electronic Engineering, Computer science, or related subject
