WHAT YOU’LL DOÂ
Complete software testing and activities in conjunction for user stories within the Agile SDLC process (products supported may be more technical in nature, i.e., SDK or API type products)
Create or consult on verification and validation test plans, test reports, trace matrices to incorporate the automated tests and review with relevant stakeholders (dev and quality)
Create an automation framework for mobile apps (iOS and Android)
Develop and improve robust test automation framework. Â Ensure the framework works in conjunction with the Quality Management system as well as provides strong and quick feedback for Agile development. Â Ensure the framework covers functional, end to end, compatibility and use case scenarios. Â This will also require working with DevOps and other teams to integrate test automation with build systems, test management system, and device cloud.
Testing HTTP, CSS, JavaScript, and products built using React.js and Backbone.js frameworks.
Mentor and provide day to day guidance to the junior members of the software test team. Â Review work to ensure compliance and quality
Develop automated metric tools for management purposes
Provide feedback and suggest improvements to the Agile SDLC process
EDUCATION
Bachelor’s degree, or equivalent experience, in a scientific, technical, or engineering discipline. Â
EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING
3 years’ experience working as Software Development Engineer in Test (SDET) and/or Software Quality Assurance.  Â
Must be technically strong and have experience testing mobile applications
Must have excellent oral and written communication skills. Â
Experience with defect tracking tools (JIRA, etc.)
Experience with source code version control system (Git, Bitbucket, etc.)
Experience with Web test framework (robot framework, Cucumber, etc.)
Experience with Selenium WebDriver
Experience with SQL and Database/backend testing
PreferredÂ
Medical Device experience strongly preferred.
Experience in an agile development environment preferred.Â
Experience in CI/CD processes and tools preferred.
Experience in Cloud Platform (AWS, GCP, Azure) preferred.
Experience with embedded systems and integration testing with external systems preferred
Cyber security, medical mobile applications or cloud computing experience preferred.Â
