System Test Specialist

The System Test Engineer will be responsible for executing activities that include simulating customer workflow testing, bench level component testing, troubleshooting on earthmoving machines, capturing, and analyzing test data used in the development of Grade Control products for earthmoving machines such as Track Type Tractors, Motor Graders, and Hydraulic Excavators. In addition, the System Test Engineering is also responsible for participating in the design of new products and clarifying user requirements for the development engineers.
Position Responsibilities
+ Evaluate new products and technologies, primarily at the bench/component level
+ Typical work environment for this role will involve both office/bench-based testing and machine-based testing
+ Develop test procedures for Grade Control systems in collaboration with the lead design engineers and software development teams
+ Analyze data and generate reports that document results from testing on Grade Control products
+ Conduct Grade Control test setups and teardowns in a lab environment and on earthmoving machines, including installation of sensors, brackets, displays, wiring
+ Execute and document bench tests and on-machine tests for Grade Control products
Required Qualifications
+ Bachelor s degree or higher in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience
+ Applied experience in the development/testing and troubleshooting of electromechanical components
+ Applied Experience with the data logging and data processing of system data
+ Mechanical and electrical aptitude, as well as manual dexterity to work in bench test and machine test environments
Desired Qualifications:
+ Experience with CAN, RS232, Ethernet, Wi-Fi, GNSS, and / or Cellular communications
+ Experience testing/developing individual components, ie IMU s, displays, gnss and network related components
+ Experience writing scripts to process and analyze data
