Kelly Engineering Resources is hiring for a **Systems Verifications Engineers** for a long-term project with a premiere Tier 1 supplier of automotive systems. You will work as on-site with our clients R&D team. You will focus on developing verification plans to ensure embedded software for braking and steering system & components meets customers DVM and requirements. You will read, review & understand system requirements, develop verification plans, test procedures/protocols, write test cases and develop scripting to automate software integration
**Essential Responsibilities and Abilities**
+ Review, read and understand systems requirements
+ Read and understand microprocessor and other IC datasheets
+ Interpret, understand and provide feedback on software requirements for a project.
+ Understand software requirements & reviews for testability.
+ Analyze customer Data Verification Modules (DVM) and testing requirements
+ Preparation of verification plan, protocols, reports, problem reports, traceability reports
+ Use tools such as Vector CANoe and CANalizer to emulate vehicle CAN interface
+ Write test scripts to automate software integration and system integration testing.
+ Use black box testing, white box testing, regression testing, build acceptance testing etc.
+ Interface and communicate with third party testing suppliers
+ Knowledge on Software Code Reviews, Peer Reviews, Static Code Analysis, Unit Testing.
**Qualifications of the Successful Systems Verification Engineer**
**Required Background**
+ Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering
+ Ideally, 2+ years experience with embedded systems or hardware verification with ability to learn software. This can include relevant internship, co-ops and research projects or other similar experience.
+ Matlab, Simulink and Microsoft Excel skills are required
+ Knowledge of microcontrollers, power supply IC, etc.
+ Effective interpersonal skills with internal and external customers is required
+ Excellent verbal and technical communication skills is required
**Experience Pluses**
+ VBA
+ Knowledge of Vector Tools CANoe, CANalizer, CANape
+ Knowledge of WINidea
+ Knowledge of DSPACE automation desk, configuration desk
+ Knowledge of Python, CAPL and C/C++ programming languages
+ Basic knowledge of controls, motors, controllers (HW and SW), and sensors and gear
+ Knowledge of ISO 26262 Safety Standards and requirements management tools
+ Experience with electrical product development
+ Experience with communication protocols
+ Knowledge of SPI, SENT, CAN, etc.
