Job Description: Change Management Engineer


The Change Management Engineer (CME) will lead multiple development and testing and data teams through diagnosis and repair of miss-configurations, network failures, data errors and other mistakes that cause user experience problems in web-based applications. The engineer is responsible for contacting development teams, lead triage phone calls, and manage triage chat rooms. The CME is expected to drive communication continuously during the process of diagnosis and repair. Communications include making leadership phone calls, following up on email chains and announcing the conclusion of issues.


The engineer is expected to learn to validate connections down-stream and up-stream using opensource tools such as KubeCTL, Curl and specialized tools. They are an outgoing individual with technical abilities.


Responsible for updating enterprise-wide delivery teams on environment configuration and use changes.


5-7 years deep technical experience as operations implementer

B.Sc. Computer Science or equivalent

Knows curl well

Knows the unix/linux command line well

Knows at least 1 scripting language well (perl, Python, shell)

Easily converts technical discussions from one group into technical discussions for another group with different vernacular/vocabulary.
