Technical Systems Analyst troubleshoots technical issues on regular basis and works closely with IT and other cross-functional business resources to deliver successful resolution. The Technical Business Analyst looks for systems and processes efficiencies as well as participating in various projects.
Samsung is looking for a candidate who can propose system environment to meet fast changing eCOMM operation and business process. Work includes, but not limited to systems like: SAP, HYBRIS, SQL Server, File Transfer Management, etc.
Role and Responsibilities
Coordinate development and test new functionality in related systems, document results.
Gather and document business requirements from meetings and discussions.
Analyze systems and business processes to identify gaps, work with HQ providing solutions.
Contribute to business decision making by providing systems solution and daily support.
Participate in projects delivering technical support and systems details.
Daily systems monitoring, analyzing and issue resolution, reporting.
Ensure all tiers of support requests are handled on a timely basis.
Support all technology projects and provide strategic solutions to operational issues.
Flexibility in work schedule due off-hours support especially during month-end.
Understanding of business process: order management, logistics, billing in ERP environment (SAP preferable).
Extensive knowledge of MS Office and strong skills in Excel VBA, SQL would be appreciated.
Basic understanding of payment process from various entities (Cybersource, PayPal, VISA, MasterCard).
Understanding of file-transfer technology as it relates to data interface between various systems.
Strong analytical skills to investigate problems and system issues, and provide solutions.
Flexibility to work overtime and under pressure while meeting tight deadline, ability to prioritize tasks.
Excellent communication skills (Korean speaking would be an asset).
Ability to learn and apply gained knowledge to practice, programming experience.
Presentation skills when providing solutions to business people.
Friendly presence and helpful attitude; good interpersonal skills and ability to work well with others.
Excellent oral and written communication skills.
Good problem solving skills; ability to visualize a problem or situation and think abstractly to solve it.
Creativity. Ability to think around problems and come up with creative solutions is helpful.
Work together with key partners and stakeholders via internal approval system.
Work independently to resolve complex technical issues.
Education/Knowledge/Experience:
University degree or College equivalent in IT related area.
Fundamental knowledge of systems analysis, network and application management tasks.
Knowledge of broad range of relevant computer systems and applications.
3+ years working experience with leading eCommerce systems (HYBRIS is an asset).
