The CX CMS Platform Operations team seeks a Sr. System Admin Support Engineer to join some of the industry's brightest minds to support a state of art Managed Service Platform. The candidate is expected to Drive resolution of complex Incidents/Events, Work with Problem Managers for PBI investigation and RCAs, providing escalation support for Tier 1 and 2, Contribute to the Knowledge base, provide technical inputs to change and release management, lead projects, Cross collaborate with other SMEs and cross functional teams.
What You'll Do
The primary role would include leading team of Sysadmin team in proactively supporting and maintaining Managed Services Platform to reduce/avoid potential issues, upgrade and scale, etc. The candidate should be an expert in System administration skills along with hands on knowledge with any NMS application. The candidate is expected to understand and work with automation tools for increased and faster productivity- Scripting knowledge is a must to be success in this role. The employee would need to understand concepts of SaaS along with virtualization and Data centre components.
Who You Are
Must Have
* Strong written and verbal communications to successfully handle customer and stakeholder communications.
* Experienced in configuring and deploying enterprise-class networks including Cisco Nexus 9k,7k,5k,3k Switches, Cisco Catalyst Switches and Cisco ASR / ISR Routers.
* Experienced In technologies like Next-Gen DC, ACI Multisite/Multipod, DCNM, Intersight, Unified Compute, HyperFlex, VMware.
* Failover and Load balancing cluster, patch/fix, firmware upgrades, HA, DRS
* Administration and troubleshooting of mixed environment (physical and virtual servers).
* Planning, Installation, Configuration, Management and Troubleshooting of virtual Servers/clusters.
* Vmware/Compute engineer with strong experience in VMware/ESXi/Windows Active Directory environment, setup windows AD domain and maintain the domain with day to day task of maintain multiple AD environments.
* Experience in Citrix/VDI Infrastructure support.
* Familiar with ISO/PCI security standards preferred.
* Certification: RHC Engineer (RHCE) or RHC Architect (RHCA) : Datacenter
* Certification: Vmware Certified Advanced Professional (VCAP)
* Windows Active Directory Administration
* Expertise in troubleshooting complex production issues and Analytical skills
* Outstanding customer interaction skills
* Knowledge of ITIL Processes
Role & Responsibilities:
Engineer is expected to:
* Drive resolution of complex Incidents/outages.
* Interface regularly with Engineering, Delivery, Architecture teams etc. on regular basis for knowledge upgrade and feedbacks sharing.
* Work with Problem Managers for PBI investigation and RCAs
* Providing escalation support to support tiers.
* Contribute to the Knowledge-base
* Provide technical inputs to change and release management
* Cross collaborate with other SMEs and cross functional teams
* Leading projects for successfully achieving desired outcomes.
Minimum Qualifications:
* Bachelors Degree (BE or BTech)
* Minimum 10 years of System Administration, Virtualization, VMware support experience.
