Role & Responsibilities
Works for worldwide customers within her/his own team or with other Cisco teams to tackle problems and improve future productsSolves reported product and network problems of moderate to high complexityEffectively use of databases of existing issues, debugging tools and simple or moderate lab simulations to analyse problems and determine solutions with a high level of customer happinessKeeps up-to-date with the latest technology trends/products in order to provide high quality support to customers
Who Youll Work With
CX Technology Group, which will be a part of the CX India TheatreAs part of the CX Support Services team you will have the opportunity to work with some of our largest customers across various domains, to support complex service requests, and develop automation & Innovation projects inhouse, within the security domain.
Who You Are
The Technical Consulting Engineer will have a working background in the Security domain.
Should have technical knowledge/experience of
Working on features like NAT, ALG, HA, IDS/IPS Or working on AAA technologies like RADIUS, TACACS, DOT1X Or working on VPN technologies like IKEv1, IKEv2, PKI, SSL VPN, NHRP, GRE over IPsec, Remote Access VPN Clients etc
Good understanding of Cisco ISE architecture and policies
Good understanding of routing & switching concepts
Deep understanding of OSI model & protocols like ARP, TCP, IP, DHCP, DNS, IPSEC, ISAKMP
Working knowledge of Wireshark & programming languages like Python
Experience in working in a Customer support environment with excellent customer handling skills.
Logical Problem Solving approach and Analytical skills
Minimum Qualifications
A minimum of 6-8 years of experience with Security Technologies preferably CiscoA minimum of 3 years of experience in Support environment with proven Troubleshooting experience in complex environments,Solid technical foundation in networking (CCNA or above) is requiredCisco Security Certifications (CCNA Security, CCNP Security, CCIE Security) would be an added advantage
