Role Summary
As a member of the D&AE Technology Product Management Team, The Technical Product Owner, Senior Manager is responsible for managing and championing product development and management of Evernorth's Interoperability Ecosystem based on FHIR. Theproduct owner will harness a combination of product management, API's, big data, data science and analysis skills to closely collaborate across engineering and respective business functions to define feature sets, aid in the design of solutions and build, deploy and drive adoption of the interoperability capabilities.
Responsibilities:
Act as a one of the product owners of Evernorth's Interoperability Ecosystem to deliver results for internal and external business partners and customers.
Author documents relating to product life cycle including product roadmap, business requirements and functional specifications.
When applicable, write, prioritize, sequence, test, and accept features, user stories, and defects.
Drive product development across partners, vendor, and teams (primarily Engineering, Operations, Product Management, Business Development, Legal, and Marketing) through business requirements, design, implementation, and deployment.
Exhibit excellent judgment on how to prioritize between focusing features, architectural improvements, and operational excellence
Lead the development of reporting, insights and operational metrics that measure customer experience quality, and turn this data into insightful recommendations for the business
Work collaboratively with Engineering as an advocate for the needs of our customers.
Evaluate industry innovations and technology platforms and identify partnership and collaboration opportunities.
Develop deep knowledge of the healthcare community and innovations by interviewing prospective and existing consumers to determine needs for product roadmap direction
Dive deep into customer and system data to perform analysis. Define, track, and analyze key API usage, adoption, and performance metrics to provide strategic recommendations.
Provide subject matter expertise to help understand positioning and key value propositions through internal communication channels (blogs, presentations, case studies).
Monitor project execution and ensuring that the project delivery is to the appropriate levels of quality and in line with target dates.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field preferred (computer science or engineering degrees). Master's degree preferred, but not required.
Experience driving agile and/or lean product development with demonstrated record of delivering solutions to internal stakeholders and/or external market segments
Direct relevant work experience developing API and or data solutions
Experience and knowledge of the big data landscape (e.g. Hadoop, Spark, Cloud-based storage/compute/network infrastructure as well as data processing solutions on AWS, Azure or GCP)
Understanding of analytics and data science processes including model development lifecycle, model performance management and governance, and software development lifecycle.
Excellent conceptual and analytical thinking and communication skills through white-boarding, presentations, and written content creation
Experience with Hl7 FHIR standards
Nice to Haves:
Finance or Healthcare data and analytics industry experience (provider, payer, medical, pharmaceutical or health services)
Demonstrated record of building data capabilities (vs. turn-key products) and communicating their value through solution selling or business value consulting
For this position, we anticipate offering an annual salary of $119,600 - $199,300, depending on relevant factors, including experience and geographic location.
This role is also anticipated to be eligible to participate in an annual bonus plan.
