Technology Innovation Senior Principal (Accenture LLP; Irving, TX): Accenture LLP has multiple openings for the position of Technology Innovation Senior Principal in Irving, TX to manage a group of resources to install, configure, upgrade, administer, monitor and maintain databases within an Oracle Engineered Systems architecture. S/he will be responsible for the team of resources that build and maintain the Enkitec Engineered Systems Innovation Center and patching environments - Super Cluster, Exadata, ZFS, and PCA. S/he will perform the following duties for mission critical systems: Provide leadership for an on/offshore team to development and design of Engineered System database strategies, system monitoring and improving Exadata database performance; Review plans and approach for future expansion requirements; installation and configuration of Oracle Engineered Systems; Develop the global methodology and approach for ongoing maintenance including: patching, upgrading, administration, monitoring; Provide leadership and oversight for the deployment of security architecture, plan, and polices to ensure security measures safeguard the database to meet specific security requirements within Engineered Systems Architecture; Provide senior engineering oversight and hands on support for troubleshooting, debugging, and working with Oracle Engineering Systems (Exadata, ZFS, PCA, Exalogic, SuperCluster, etc.); Review and provide feedback on Architecture Setup, Configuration, Migration and Consolidation, High Availability, Maximum Availability Architecture and Disaster Recovery, Real Application Clusters, Real Application Testing, Active Data Guard, Diagnosable, Manageability and Operations; Provide design reviews for Core Database Administration team including areas such as, Database Architecture Design and PLSQL, Database Installation, Configuration and Patching including Real Application Clusters (RAC), Database Performance Tuning, Data Replication, Database Security, Encryption, Compression, Data Masking, Redaction, Backup and Recovery, RMAN, DataPump and SQLLoader; Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control and Cloud Control.




MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:This position requires a bachelors degree, or its foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Information Systems/Technology, Engineering (any), or closely related field. In lieu of a bachelor's degree, the employer deems that the suitable combination of education, training or experience acceptable is 3 years of study towards any U.S. bachelor's degree, plus 3 years of experience. Additionally, this position requires 5 years of experience as Oracle Database Administrator, Oracle Exadata Database Machine Administrator, Oracle Super Cluster Administrator or in a related position, including the following experience: 4 years of experience implementing Oracle SuperCluster hardware/infrastructure (computer, network and storage tiers) including installation, configuration, and patching of the hardware, primarily when used as the basis of supporting Oracle application technology such as Oracle Database and Oracle Middleware; 4 years of experience implementing Oracle Solaris Operating Systems including of the operating system, primarily in context of being run on Oracle SuperCluster hardware; 5 years of experience implementing Oracle Exadata hardware/infrastructure including installation, configuration, management, and patching of the hardware, primarily to support Oracle Database consolidation and implementations; 5 years of experience with conducting Oracle Database Performance Engineering, including tuning database software, Structure Query Language (SQL) code and underlying infrastructure; 4 years of experience implementing Oracle Golden Gate extracts and replicates to ensure stable and performant real time data replication on oracle database platforms; 2 years of experience implementing Oracle Cloud Infrastructure solutions, including Design, implementation, management of Oracles cloud infrastructure and platforms.




Positions are based in Irving, TX but requires domestic travel up to 50% of an average work week. Telecommuting is permitted for this role; must reside within reasonable commuting distance from the assigned Accenture office.
