**EITT Technology Lead** :



We are looking for a senior creative, seasoned leader who will lead multiple technology teams, provide technical direction and oversight as the team delivers on technology solutions.



Key responsibilities of the role include developing solutions and processes for delivering features based on their knowledge of design/architectural patterns and Agile practices. This role ensures the systems design and requirements are aligned to achieve the desired business outcomes, and that team practices and coding/quality principles are aligned to achieve the desired technology outcomes.



They have built significant experience through multiple software implementations and have developed both depth and breadth in a number of technical competencies.



**Role Overview:**



The Risk technology organization at Bank of America supports the Enterprise Independent Test arm of Global Risk, who are responsible for delivering state of the art technology used across the enterprise by all Front Line Units in managing and maintaining and adhering to the testing standards prescribed within the banks policies as well as by regulatory bodies.



The technology team comprises of a group of Developers, BAs and Testers located across AMRS and APAC and runs an Agile project consisting of three scrum teams using JIRA with a CICD pipeline for deployments.



The exposure is across the enterprise as this role will lead a platform that ingests data from multiple front line units and has been a critical system used for enterprise deliverables like validation of CARES PPP loans.



The application is a home grown webapp that is going through significant functional upgrades based on user demand as well as architectural revamp using containers and micro services based architecture, which can be challenging, complex and rewarding.



The team will be looking to enhance the existing applications and take a more strategic view of the technology in use and the application architecture to ensure we have fast, modern and high-quality environment for the future of the applications.



**Required Skills and Experience we are looking for:**



The most important skill is the ability to lead. The candidate must have at least 5+ years of prior technical leadership experience in a matrixed organization and should be able to demonstrate how they have effectively grown and groomed teams while partnering with other senior engineers, architects and analysts



The candidate should drive team performance and velocity by assigning/reassigning stories and tasks, helping remove impediments, building a partnership with the Product Owners (POs) and escalating to senior leadership when required



The candidate should have experience leading a web application preferably built using Java, Spring & ReactJS with Oracle as the back end



Should lead by example and be able to demonstrate strong technical skills on Java Programming and/or Database programming



Solid Understanding of Core Java Patterns and J2EE Design Patterns (i.e.: Adapters, Business Objects, Delegates, Service Locator, Singleton, DAO & DTO)



Should have experience with REST web services



Candidate should have relevant experience working with the product owners (POs) and other technology/feature leads and comfortable being the ambassador for the technology team



Candidate should have a good idea in estimating new requirements and converting t-shirt sizing/story points into dollar estimates based on team composition and velocity



Strong analytical and design skills



Able to work independently and deliver high quality results



Understand and convert macro level requirements into actionable tasks



Understand the continuous integration and continuous deployment lifecycle



Design and implement the overall web architecture



**Desired Skills and Experience we are looking for:**



Appreciation for clean and well documented code



Experience with Material, Bootstrap or Telerik Components



Experience transitioning applications from legacy UI technologies (AngularJS) to modern web frameworks (React or Angular)



Experience transitioning application back end from a monolithic framework



Good understanding of Oracle database and query tuning in Oracle

**Jersey City pay range:**



$98,000 - $153,200

annualized salary, offers to be determined based on experience, education and skill set.
