What You'll Do:
Work closely with Tech Leads of various teams to assess existing problems and to design process improvement solutions
You'll identify and fix bottlenecks in our Business Continuity plans
You'll work with teams to ensure we can recover quickly and effectively.
You'll build coding standardization and automating processes for the organization to help recover faster from failure.
You'll be part of team scrums and maintain a proper agile workflow for the DevOps team
You'll solve the challenge of building the world's fastest betting engine
Work to reduce our overhead of complexity as we continue to scale to each State
What you will need:
3-5+ years of hands-on experience in VMware Deployments - photon OS, Clusters, VSAN, vSCA, and performance metrics
Hands on skills with DataCenter networking: VLans, vSphere Distributed Switches, firewalls
1-2 years DevOps related experience
Scripting skills in at least one of the following: Powershell, Bash, Python, Perl, GoLang.
Senior level experience with implementing and maintaining infrastructure as code (via Terraform, DSC - Desired State Control)
Experience with containerization (Docker) and scaling with Kubernetes (EKS, GKS, AKS, or Tanzu)
In-depth experience implementing and maintaining automation/configuration management solutions (i.e. Puppet, Ansible, SaltStack) used throughout business
Experiencing administering and automating practical solutions for SDLC and Release management through CI and related tools including but not limited to: Gitlab, Bitbucket, Jenkins, Maven, Nexus, Artifactory, Sonar, Jira, Confluence, etc.
Ability to explain and describe complex solutions, then break them into repeatable solutions.
Bonus: Overlay networking - VXLAN experience.
Bonus: Experience administrating Kafka and Cassandra instances.
Bonus: You have experience with Istio for Kubernetes.
