NewsON is seeking a creative OTT user acquisition specialist to maximize ROAS on our promotional media spending. This person will be our expert in leveraging on/off-platform options to ensure that our audience acquisition efforts deliver scale and efficiency.
You must be able to thrive in an entrepreneurial environment, and not be hindered by ambiguity or competing priorities. This means you are not only able to develop and drive high-level strategic initiatives, but can also roll up your sleeves, dig in and get the job done.
This position is U.S. Remote Eligible, accommodating Pacific Time work hours.
Key Job Responsibilities:
- Lead planning/execution of user acquisition strategies for all platforms (Roku, Samsung, FireTV, AppleTV, iOS, Google Play, Web, Mobile)
- Includes paid advertising and organic/content marketing approaches (OTT, social, search, email, mobile, etc) in conjunction with Content Producers
- Track and report on all key performance metrics to document KPIs such as LTV, ROAS, qualified/unqualified installs and customer engagement
- Develop attribution methodology in order to effectively determine overall ROI and advocate for increased marketing investment
- Utilize off-platform advertising to acquire users (social media, SEM, mobile, etc)
- Drive a UA funnel where web and mobile users are efficiently converted to CTV install/users
- Coordinate marketing activities with 3rd party vendors eg; Developer, MMP, Ad Agency
- Work with internal groups (operations, technology, sales and content) and external stakeholders
- Build relationships with OTT platform partners to maximize organic growth opportunities
- Manage the marketing budget so that expenses align with monthly/quarterly/annual budgets
- Participate in quarterly forecasting meetings with finance and in the creation of the annual marketing expense budget
- Primary focus is UA, will also have some light marketing-related duties such as event/conference planning and PR
Position Requirements:
- Ability/willingness to work with a large degree of independence/autonomy/accountability
- 2+ years of digital marketing experience, ideally with direct involvement in customer acquisition and retention programs
- Solid understanding of planning, buying, tracking and attribution/ROAS analysis
- Experience administering advertising buying campaigns with constraints of a budget
- Experience with buying on-platform (eg; Roku), web, social media and SEM
- Detail-oriented, with strong analytic and research skills
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- CTV experience a plus
