Who We Are:
Here at Accentures Cloud Innovation Centers (CIC), we are changing the world through the most advanced cloud-native solutions on the planet. Want to be a part of it? If you are about solving exciting problems and shaping the future of technology, we would love to talk with you.
At most companies, Product Design is split into many different roles: UX, UI, IA, maybe even a little Front-End Dev, and so on. At Accentures Cloud Innovation Center, it's an all-in-one role, the CX (Customer Experience) Designer. We believe the best designs come from someone who can see it all through, from shaping the problem to shipping to the finished product.
That means all of our designers are T-Shaped: a broad generalist insightful researchers, confident facilitators, solid aesthetic sensibilities, a friend to product managers, can pair with front-end developers, strong communicators with a deep passion for their personal specialty (Accessibility, Workshops, Mobile, etc.)
You are:
As a UX/CX Designer, you'll be working on cloud native products for a myriad of Accenture's clientele. You might be improving an existing feature, designing something totally brand new, or rethinking how a client does something. You are always the sole designer on a balanced team with paired engineers and a product manager and all our projects are as design-led as they are business-led, so you'll have a lot of influence and impact right away. The Cloud Innovation Centers uniquely work under the Lean Xtreme Programming methodologies: creating a humane, agile culture through values, respect, and work-life balance. We may use the term sprint but we believe that products are living systems which reflect the health of the people who built them so we pace ourselves to enjoy the marathon and avoid burnout.
The work:
A typical day for our UX/CX Designer might include facilitating a workshop to integrate Lean UX into a project, reviewing features with your product team, shaping the interaction on a lo-fi prototype, or conducting research with a customer.
