Our Role:
We are looking for a collaborative, inquisitive, and analytical professional like you to fulfill the role of Vice President within the PGIM Real Estate Human Resources team. You will have the opportunity to work with colleagues from around the world and lead the administration of PGIM Real Estates carried interest and co-investment programs across different geographies. The ideal candidate will work cross functionally with PGIM Real Estate HR business partners, Finance, Law, Tax and Fund Operations and will interact directly with program participants and their advisors.
Your Impact:
Co-Investment Programs
Manage and execute the required and voluntary co-investment programs including:
Solicitation of interest for voluntary co-investment program, development and distribution of associated documentation
Coordinate with PGIM Finance on Capital Calls and Distributions
Coordinate with external feeder fund administrator on investor statements
Partner with Finance, Fund Operations and our third-party feeder fund administrator on maintaining records of individual capital commitments, capital drawn, and escrow accounts
Coordinate with in-house and external Tax advisors on distribution of K-1s and fringe benefit / imputed income calculation
Manage process for exiting employees including potential buyouts or reallocations
Carried Interest Programs
Manage process of granting new carry allocations including coordination of materials for PGIMs Carried Interest Committee
Coordinate with internal and external legal counsel on carry award letters including distributing and collecting signatures from participants
Partner with internal and external legal counsel on recording limited partner interest in feeder vehicles
Produce annual carry statements for participants detailing distributions, vesting schedules, and estimated value of unrealized carry
Coordinate with global Finance and Human Resources teams on carry distributions; work with Corporate Compensation on any mandatory deferrals
Partner with in-house and external Tax advisors on the generation and distribution of tax statements related to carry including K-1s
Maintain records for FATCA and CRS reporting
Maintain record of all carry awards and carried interest reserves
Manage process for exiting employees including the calculation of vested/unvested interests
Your Required Skills:
Detailed understanding and experience in managing carried interest and co-investment programs for private alternative funds.
Ability to balance tactical short-term needs with strategic direction and priorities across a portfolio of projects
Ability to prioritize and simultaneously execute on multiple projects with varied deadlines
Strong relationship building, partnering, influencing, interpersonal and collaborative skills
Ability to think strategically, collaborate with stakeholders and work on cross-functional geographically distributed project teams to drive decision making and deliver results
Pro-active and results oriented; operates well with ambiguity and with a high degree of independence, collaboration, resilience, agility, and adaptability
Proven ability to create an environment of honesty, inclusion, diversity, and respect for others; champions differing ideas and perspectives
Excellent spoken and written communication as well as receptive listening skills, with ability to successfully facilitate discussions and present complex ideas in a clear, concise fashion to technical and non-technical audiences
Accuracy and attention to detail, balanced with the ability to see the big picture.
Excellent work ethic and self-motivated; able to manage work in a high-volume, fast paced environment, juggle multiple priorities and flexibility to work extended hours as needed.
15+ years of experience in Human Resources, Corporate/Executive Compensation, and/or Finance
Bachelors Degree
Your Desired Skills:
Working understanding of finance and/or fund accounting
Working knowledge of multi-jurisdictional tax and/or regulatory matters related to carried interest and deferred compensation plans
Experience managing third party service providers
