Position Summary:
The Head of eCommerce and digital operations will orchestrate and operationalize the strategic eCommerce and digital capabilities plan to optimize future commerce. This person is accountable for delivering the strategy and executing day-to-day online operations relating to eCommerce with responsibility for site specific operating metrics and key performance driversincluding conversion, leads, sales, digital sales appointments, customer satisfaction, average order,units per order, and fulfillment effectiveness.
This leader will play a keyrole in delivering other performance drivers including qualified traffic, new customers and repeat customers. The Head of eCommerce and digital capabilities will simultaneously execute both the long-term strategic digital road map as well as ensure flawless delivery of day-to-day shopping experiences. This leader is responsible for delivering sales through commercially driven strategies, merchandising, user experience and site operations. This leader will also build and develop a cohesive, high-performing team of commerce and digital stars to partner with the cross-functional departments to develop and execute the strategic vision for eCommerce
Key Responsibilities:
Management of the ecommerce P&L including direct responsibility for ecommerce strategy (merchandising, category growth, customer flows, etc.) and ecommerce operations.
Play a key partnership role (enabling key deliverables across the e-commerce platform) in the overall enterprise digital platform strategy.
Oversee the day-to-day operations of the eCommerce website for ADT.com and required direct and partner marketplaces.
Manage all aspects of the user experience, continuously optimizing and refining to achieve top-line and bottom-line results.
Establish metrics and processes to implement efficiencies and control costs.
Develop and articulate a vision for the site and identify needs; gain peer and team support to execute against agreed upon plans. Works cross-functionally with IT, marketing, media, and CXto alignon key requirements for the end-end commerce experiences. This includes the strategic roadmap for our digital engagement platforms and the commerce marketplace.
Manage overall user experience, site navigation, content requirements, transaction funnel and ensure flawless delivery of each.
Prioritize and address immediate concerns with consideration of the long-term goals and growth plan.
Develop eCommerce governance–DTC, retail partners, affiliates, etc.
Work collaboratively with cross-functional partners including sales, supply chain, product and operations to increase omni-channel sales.
Leverage business analytics and a strong understanding of financial metrics to track selling, identify key trends and maximize opportunities in the assortment to achieve growth and profitability of the ecommerce business.
Provide program performancea nalysis, make recommendations based on results to increase sales, opt-ins, Average Order Size, Average Unit Sales, and repeat purchases.
This role will partner with product and experienceinnovation to provide operational execution, support and oversight of key digital initiatives, experiences and products.
