Brief Description of the Organization
The Consumer Wealth Management (CWM) is a U.S.-based segment of the Citi Global Wealth (CGW) organization for Citibank with presence in the US and in Latin America providing services to clients around the world. CWM offers its clients access to brokerage products and services as well as traditional banking products and services through three legal vehicles and offices located in the U.S. and some Latin American countries.
**Description of the Position**
The Wealth Academy Professional Development Specialist is a member of the Wealth Academy team and responsible for facilitating the evolution of Consumer Wealth Management (CWM) learning and development and career planning capabilities to support talent growth and create a comprehensive employee lifecycle within the organization. The Wealth Academy Professional Development Specialist is a strategic professional who stays abreast of developments within own field and contributes to directional strategy by considering their application in own job and the business. Recognized technical authority for an area within the business. Deals with most problems independently and has some latitude to solve complex problems. Integrates in-depth specialty area knowledge with a solid understanding of industry standards and practices. Good understanding of how the team and area integrate with others in accomplishing objectives. Moderate but direct impact through close contact with the businesses core activities. The Wealth Academy Professional Development Specialist will be instrumental in contributing to hiring, retention, and growth objectives.
**Job Purpose**
+ Determines and develops appropriate learning and development (practice management) solutions for assigned projects, based on the outcome of analyzing business needs, performance goals, and audience.
+ Participates in the program creation and design process by assisting with needs assessments; task analysis; research of knowledge tasks; working with SMEs to validate content; and the creation of supporting design documents.
+ Contributes to development by constructing end-user materials, facilitator guides, assessments, and writing supporting documentation
+ Designs and develops data collection tools and methods to measure the impact of training.
+ In partnership with Wealth Academy Professional Development Lead, stay connected to Learning Advisors to diagnose business issues
+ Routinely support, and interact with Learning Advisors, and/or business/function team leaders
+ Create training plans for business as usual (BAU) and project activities, working with management to identify and prioritize learning & development opportunities to support business achievement
+ Collaborate with external asset managers, practice management firms, and others to support the development of programs.
+ Partner with technical subject matter experts to ensure new technical information is understood and accurate. Provide demos, trainings, pre-recorded sessions, computer-based training (CBTs) and PowerPoint presentations to various departments and leadership
+ Maintain configuration and versioning of the documents, ensuring the latest version is available
+ Compile management reporting in professional and clear format
+ Is responsible for all other duties assigned.
+ Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating consideration for the firm's reputation safeguarding Citigroup, its clients, and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules, and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency.
**Qualifications Education and Professional Experience**
+ Minimum 5-10 years professional work experience
+ Broad understanding of practice management and performance improvement strategies
+ Consistently demonstrates clear and concise written and verbal communication skill
+ Strong interpersonal skills
+ Superior MS Word and PowerPoint knowledge
+ Experience converting text to PDF files
+ Ability to quickly grasp business and technical concepts
+ Strong evaluative and problem-solving abilities
+ Ability to motivate in a team oriented, collaborative environment
+ Ability to manage multiple projects

+ Bachelors/University degree or equivalent experience
