Senior Identity and Access Management Engineer
Fitch's Security Monitoring Group is looking to hire a Director level Senior IAM Engineer. The Security Monitoring Group is a function of the Technology Risk Group which is the office of the CISO.
As Fitch evolves its IAM strategy to meet its future needs and advance its zero trust security ambitions, you will be responsible for strengthening IAM principles, processes and tooling to support the company's strategic security objectives. In your capacity, as the senior IAM engineer, you will provide expertise, knowledge, guidance and operational support for the identity management solution landscape and functions including provisioning, federation, role/entitlement reviews, authentication, and access management (privileged and non-privileged) for the cloud and on-premise applications.
As well as operational support, your role is responsible for working with identity and entitlement stakeholders, IT teams and application development squads to provide design expertise, identify process refinement opportunities and thought leadership to assist in the evolution of IAM program and toolsets to continuously improve service delivery and security for the function while upholding existing commitments, meeting compliance requirements and driving the IAM program to further success.
We are seeking an experienced, high caliber IAM professional with a breadth of knowledge in the IAM space and who has successfully delivered complex IAM projects involving multiple stakeholders, across various business units. Fitch's IAM program is a key component of the security strategy. There are a number of high-profile projects on the horizon to potentially transform for our security capabilities.
Job responsibilities:
Represent the Technology Risk group as the subject matter expert in Identity and Access Management technologies, principles and practices
Support and enhance IAM toolsets and processes to satisfy business requirements and security objectives
Participate in the selection, configuration, integration, and management of identity and access management related tools
Identify and implement the processes and tools to optimize entitlement assignments and access certification campaigns
Drive the adoption of authentication and authorization reference architectures for existing and new IAM technologies
Manage IAM projects across different technology areas or teams from design through post-implementation
Coordinate activities related to any internal and external audits for which IAM controls are in-scope
Assist in the development and review of security policies, standards, procedures, and guidelines
Develop and maintain IAM security relevant skills and knowledge, both technical and non-technical, through training, certifications, and other means
Ensure that IAM security diagrams, inventories and process documentation is maintained.
Skills/Experience:
Preferably 10+ years' experience in security systems administration, including technical hands-on IAM practitioner experience at a senior level
Knowledge and expertise managing identities considerations across cloud and on-prem infrastructure (including Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS), Platform as a Service (PaaS) and Software as a Service (SaaS))
Experience with federation concepts and technologies particularly with solutions from Microsoft Azure (particularly Azure AD), Amazon Web Services (AWS), RBAC/ABAC and zero trust principles
Knowledge of software development or scripting languages (Python, PowerShell, JavaScript, Bash etc.) would be beneficial
Understanding of Agile principles and practices (SCRUM)
Hands-on experience with one or more of the major IAM/IGA platforms (think within Gartner Magic Quadrant) and/or Thycotic Secret Server
Knowledge of risk management and security governance frameworks (CIS20, NIST) and regulatory requirements (e.g. SOX, Dodd Frank, GDPR etc.)
