The Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer will have diverse responsibilities for the implementation, maintenance, monitoring and support of various enterprise technology platforms including Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle WebCenter, Oracle WebLogic, and other applications in the Cox Enterprises Financial and Supply Chain Shared Services portfolio. The Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer will be responsible for application deployments, configuration, and maintenance as well as execution of continuous improvement initiatives.  The Administrator will also be responsible for source control, configuration management (build automation), and application performance monitoring. This resource will be responsible for documenting and handing off tasks to an offshore team. Responsibilities * Install, configure, upgrade and maintain custom and commercial off the shelf applications and platforms such as Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle WebCenter, and Oracle WebLogic * Participate in, and provide input to, project and support teams in proper deployment, configuration, and usage of the applications * Maintain application and system availability in the production environment and support project work as needed in the lower environments * Document configuration for all above-referenced products in support of the Production environment * Work closely with Application Developers, Enterprise Architects, support teams, and vendors to troubleshoot issues * Monitor environmental performance of applications to ensure availability and accessibility * Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation in support of high priority incidents and issues * Perform other duties as requested Qualifications * At least 3 years of experience managing and supporting applications in a production environment * Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as or similar to Ansible, GitHub, or Jenkins * Basic knowledge of setup and maintenance of virtual environment products * Experience with SQL query and scripting languages * Understanding of SSL certificates, domain name/IP address relationships and network troubleshooting tools * Customer service and team-oriented focus is required * Ability to work on multiple project efforts at the same time is required Preferred * Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Oracle WebCenter, and/or Oracle WebLogic About Cox Cox empowers employees to build a better future and has been doing so for over 120 years.
