**Team Description:**
The Alternative Investments (AI) & Specialty Asset Management (SAM) Solutions team is positioned within the AI & SAM LOB, part of the broader Investment Solution Group (ISG) organization supporting Wealth Management.
The AI & SAM Solutions team supports a variety of products, such as hedge funds, managed futures funds, private equity funds, non-traded real estate investment trusts (REITs) and real assets (i.e. real estate, farm & ranch, timberland, private businesses, oil & gas). The products supported by the AI & SAM Solutions team are offered to suitable private clients across both the Merrill and BofA Private Bank distribution channels through both Financial Advisors (FAs) and Portfolio Managers (PMs).
The AI & SAM Solutions team is designed to provide thoughtful, strategic and sustainable operational, technology and business intelligence solutions to improve the day-to-day business for clients and advisors in addition to enabling the broader goals of the organization to be accomplished.
**General Responsibilities:**
+ Support AI and SAM strategic initiatives across both business, regulatory, operational and technical areas, including working with product management leads in defining and developing requirements, working with multiple organizations and stakeholders to obtain consensus on scope, approach, features, functionality, etc., working with technology partners to design and test system enhancements, coordinating and communicating launch/roll out activities
+ Assist with gathering, documenting and prioritizing input from users and stakeholders for future functional changes, identifying short term and long term solutions
+ Support the day-to-day execution and supervision of AI & SAM platform scorecard responsibilities i.e. document management, supervision of third-parties, execution of manual controls, reporting processes, etc.
+ Support business intelligence reporting and data inquiries about activity across the AI & SAM platform to partners and stakeholders
+ Support the creation, maintenance and supervision of content related to the AI & SAM platform, such as e-mail and physical client and advisor communications, internal websites, SharePoint sites, etc.
+ Assist with navigating complex governance and technology processes for budgeting, funding, approvals, etc.
+ Partner with stakeholders to act as a liaison between sales, origination, governance, operations, legal, risk, and compliance teams and internal technology and vendors.
+ 4 12 years of relevant experience
+ Serve as an leading individual contributor, capable of directing and training more junior associates.

+ Experience with support for and management of non-financial assets (real assets) i.e. real estate, farmland, timberland, oil & gas, private businesses
+ Experience with business intelligence and reporting, experience using Tableau or similar tools
+ Experience working with MS SQL query language and/or other foundation coding experience; experience using TOAD, MS Access or other data extract systems
