As a Solutions Architect Sr. within PNC's C&IB Technology Innovation team, you can be based remotely. This is a remote position within the Pittsburgh, PA market. Surrounding markets may be considered. In person activity may occur periodically based on business need.
In your role, you will draw upon your leadership experience and drive others to successful execution and delivery. As a senior level architect, you will be expected to lead groups and provide guidance to other architects and developers. Self-direction is required. You will also work closely with architects and developers to ensure that all technology initiatives are implemented within the existing or planned framework for each project. You will be required to understand complex systems and the interactions with other complex systems as well as the architecture competencies we will grow within the team. You will develop long-range strategies based on technical trends and business forecasts. PNCs commitment to leadership means you will always be at the leading edge of technology/business practice. You will be leading development teams by providing architectural / design support, evaluating in-house development, and integrating internal and vendor-developed systems with broader enterprise services, adhering to our corporate standards and processes. You will document and build consensus around critical architecture decisions and communicate architecture direction with business partners, enterprise technology, MIS and senior leadership. Additionally, you will identify and manage platform strategic direction in coordination with business users' needs and regulatory requirements.

Leads in the overall design of cross-functional, multi-platform, and Web-based application systems; oversees all application system processes.
Develops application architecture and blueprints aimed at reflecting enterprise business logic.
Defines application components, platforms, interfaces, and development tools. Directs mapping activities on specific technology platforms.
Provides technical guidance to application development teams. Consults on integration and conversion activities.

Leads in design of architecting Digital Identity solutions using IAM related protocols such as SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect and Microsoft Azure.
Develops detailed architecture solution designs reflecting application consumption of Digital Identity solutions and enterprise business logic.
Provides technical guidance to application development teams. Consults on integration and conversion activities.
Stay abreast of Identity and Access Management (IAM) industry developments and continue to develop professionally.
Excellent communications and organizational skills to insure alignment between technical Product Owners and Lines of Business leads
Elicit and elaborate key non-functional requirements including availability, performance, recovery and security.
Identify opportunities to reuse enterprise and shared technology services.
Maintain strong and effective working relationships with Platform Tech Leads, Technical Operations, and Risk Management teams.
Perform the duties in accordance with established processes and formal agreements with the business.
Work on assigned projects to deliver the architecture artifacts in alignment with target architectures and relevant standards recommending changes to the latter where appropriate.
Own the technology/infrastructure and documentation of non-functional requirements including availability, scalability, resiliency, security, etc.
Establish relationships with various technology partners (IT Operations, Innovation, other delivery partners, Lines of Business etc.)
Ideal candidates will have experience in:
Implementing solutions with OAuth, OpenID Connect (OIDC), and SAML.
Knowledge of Identity Management, Access Management, and Directory Services technologies including LDAPv3.
Software integration experience with representational state transfer (REST) software architectural style
Microservice architecture and API gateway knowledge.
Working knowledge on OAuth 2.0 grant types to secure microservices.
Prefer security certifications such as Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP), Certified Cloud Security Professional (CSSP), Certified Identity and Access Manager (CIAM) and Certified Identity Management Professional (CIMP).
Enterprise architecture, solution architecture or software architecture experience
Experience implementing applications and platform services on public cloud with Amazon Web Services, Google Cloud Platform or Azure (AWS, GCP or Azure)
Experience with microservices architecture, cloud native architecture or 12 factor application architecture
Hands on engineering with Java/ Spark/ Hadoop/ and Oracle. Should has have solid experience with PySpark Python- Pandas, Azure/ AWS Cloud. Financial/ Insurance/ Big-data Modeling Industry experience highly required
Experience in containerizing applications to deploy and run in containers, container-as-a-service, Platform as a Service (PaaS), immutable infrastructure, and enabling blue-green or canary deployments
Experience in building Continuous Integration / Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines with Jenkins, Artifactory, Chef, Terraform, Ansible, Amazon Web Services CloudFormation templates, GitHub or Sonar
Java, J2EE, AngularJS, React, REST, Spring framework, .NET, NodeJS, HTML / HTML5, CSS, NoSQL databases, Relational databases, Hadoop, Chef, iOS, Android, and AWS/Cloud Infrastructure to name a few.
Experience in Java, Spring boot, Angular, SQL, Database, Rest API, Basic data structure, algorithm, design patters, GIT, typescript, DevOp, architecture, Maven or Gradle.
Additional experience desired (not required):
Experience with Cloud Native Architecture TOGAF, BIAN, SEI SaaS, PaaS, IaaS Experience with CICD technologies such as Jenkins, GitHub etc.
