If so, Guardian is seeking a Sr. Solution Architect to define and build responsive application design and strategies that provides the agility to adapt to changing business and organization needs.
You are
A self-starter who can work independently and has the ability to work cross-functionally in a matrixed environment and collaborate closely with business partners, application architects, engineers, & developers across the organization to ensure achievement of Business and IT goals and objectives.
You have
Bachelors degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Math) discipline preferred, Masters degree desirable.
Minimum of 7 years experience in design, development and implementation software architecture and technology solutions
Strong experience leading projects in Enterprise solutions design and implementation, architectural models and frameworks, utilizing SAFe/Agile methodologies.
Demonstrated experience in AWS, other cloud Platforms, Middleware technologies such as event streaming, event driven architecture, applying security design/principles, Java, J2EE frameworks, Workflow Systems, DevSecOps tools, Tomcat, SpringBoot
Strong knowledge of Enterprise Databases, Middleware, Micro-services, Web services, RESTful APIs, Application development platforms, High Availability designs and technologies
Challenges the status quo; takes thoughtful, calculated risks to implement new ideasanticipating barriers and identifying ways to overcome them.
Solves complex problems; takes a new perspective using existing solutions.

Extensive systems integration experience in a diverse multi-platform environment
Excellent written and verbal communications; effective interpersonal skills; strong formal presentation abilities
Knowledge and Experience in Insurance and Investment Technologies is a plus.
AWS Cloud Certification about be desirable
You will
Influence Work closely with Business and Applications architects to ensure documented prescriptive blueprints and security best practices are followed and enforced during app design and implementation.
Communicate convey complex issues to diverse audiences, orally and in writing, in a manner that is easily understood and actionable. Ability to communicate equally well with technical and non-technical personnel.
Collaborate Participate in planning and designing of the IT Solutions in alignment to business and organization objectives. Collaboratively work with Subject matter experts from different domains including security, Cloud, network, and other architecture domains to design the final solution.
Adapt adjust to new, different, or changing circumstances while still ensuring that the overall objective is achieved.
Understand
Business Architecture application of architecture principles and techniques to the design of business operations, including business capabilities and business processes, people, technology, and information that enable them.
Service Architecture organization and design of the resources (human, technical and otherwise) that are required for the operation of an IT or business service.
Information Architecture the definition, design, and delivery of an architecture that improves the attainability and usefulness of information in the enterprise, such that knowledge workers can locate, transform, analyze, and communicate information to support effective decision-making.
Integration Architecture design methods and protocols for communication and interoperability between disparate information systems.
Application Architecture Architect and design new cloud and distributed solutions as well refactor existing solutions
Model and Design demonstrate ability to make choices and tradeoffs that drive optimal decisions through the depiction of concepts, relationships, constraints, rules, and operations in a given architecture or IT system.
Project Governance ability to review, manage, and ensure the adoption of decisions at the project level that are consistent with enterprise architecture principles, strategies, and standards.
Architecture Documentation Develops and upkeeps new standards and blueprints working in collaboration with other architecture teams
Location & Vaccination Requirement
The primary location for this position Remote with occasional travel to Holmdel, NJ OR New York City
