Levi Strauss & Company is looking for a motivated Senior Mobile App Architect to help us build the next generation mobile architecture at Levi's. The Mobile Application Architect role is on the global mobile application team. The top-rated Levi's eCommerce and loyalty App is live in North America, Europe and Asia with addition expansion to come. The App is built on a single global React Native code base.

Job Functions
You will be a part of the Levi's Mobile Application team and play an important role in the Levi's architecture team. You role will be to:
Drive, develop, and document detailed enterprise mobile architecture solutions for complex global markets. Using a compossible framework to develop reusable components and services
Participate in development activity, code review sessions and mentor junior team members.
Work with the Product Pillars to drive the solution from end to end translating functional requirements into mobile solutions.
Review and evaluate designs and project activities for compliance with technology and development standards.
Understand enabling components and mobility infrastructure: Security, EMM, MBaaS, mobile application development platforms (MADP/MEAP), user experience, governance, methodology, MCoE.
Foster an environment of consistent technical achievement and innovation for the growth of the team.
Produce, manipulate, implement or enhance Enterprise Architecture concepts, roadmaps, principles. and strategies.
Job Requirements/Nice to Have-As Many of the Following as Possible
Bachelors Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related disciplines is required.
At least 5 years in roles including architecture or technical leadership.
10+ years' experience in an IT field, with 5+ years' experience specialized in mobile.
A passion for hands-on mobile architecture
Demonstrated knowledge and skills in Application Architecture and Data Architecture.
Knowledge of the mobile market including emerging technologies, EMM solutions, network architecture and other mobile technology.
Hands-on understanding of industry best practices for mobile app development.
React Native software app development with either, iOS (Swift, Objective C), or Android (Android Framework, Java, Kotlin).
React (Class-based & Functional), Redux & Context APIs.
React Native with iOS and Android.
Understanding of native bridging and ability to create bridging libraries.
Well versed with code versioning tools such as Git and continuous integration.
Working knowledge of mobile application accessibility.
Experience working with product managers and creating technical recommendations and approaches to deliver requirements.
Experience with Jira, ability to deep-dive into React Native code for PR reviews and architecture decisions.
Well versed in agile methodologies.
Experience operating or forming a Mobile Center of Excellence preferred.
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect mobile applications with back-end services.
Familiarity with GraphQL.
