Citibank, N.A. seeks an Application Support Intermediate Analyst for its Tampa, Florida location.
Duties: Develop, create, and modify computer applications software. Analyze user needs and develop software solutions with the aim of optimizing operational efficiency. Use Java, Unix, Linux, Apache Tomcat, XML, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Python. Use Oracle and SQL Server databases and Database Management Systems. Support, develop, and enhance the Global Reconciliation Utility (GRU) applications utilized by the Operations business within the Global Controls Support team. Use ITIL, BMC Control-M, ITRS Geneos, ServiceNow application monitoring tools, SVN, Jira, GIT, TOAD, Perforce, Jenkins, Ansible, SQL Developer, SQL Server Management Studio. Collaborate with Application Support team to provide technical and business solutions for user issues. Work with database and system administrators to improve technical platforms. Use Devops tools Kubernetes, OpenShift. Liaise with Development, Release, and Operations teams to analyze, identify and solve technical issues and review, monitor and manage capacity and application design. Implement software release checkouts and remediation tasks to enhance, improve, and optimize applications stability and create functionality to prevent future issues. Review, create, and maintain Knowledge Management systems to document business process continuity and report initiatives in accordance with SLAs. Involved in software implementations and provide innovative solutions to optimize computer information systems processes. Create project tasks. Communicate status updates and issues with business users, Level 2 support and development teams. Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Business Testing. Ensure continuous improvements on application monitoring and underlying infrastructure. Perform change, incident and problem management.
Requirements: Requires at least a Bachelors degree, or foreign equivalent, in Computer Science, Computer Applications, IT or related field and 3 years of experience as an Application Support Analyst, Associate or related position involving Java-based applications development for the financial services industry. 3 years of experience must include: Java, Unix, Linux, Apache Tomcat, XML, Oracle, PL/SQL, Unix Shell scripting, Python; Oracle and SQL Server databases and Database Management Systems; ITIL, BMC Control-M, ITRS Geneos, ServiceNow application monitoring tools; Creating project tasks; Technical and business diagnostics; Disaster Recovery and Continuity of Business Testing; SQL Server Database; SQL Server Management Studio; Devops tools Kubernetes, OpenShift; and SVN, Jira, GIT, TOAD, Perforce, Jenkins, Ansible, SQL Developer.
