Job Description:
Under moderate supervision assists the Project Management team with management administration on a moderate size and scope project, or a portion of a large size and scope project, following set guidelines for completion of tasks.
Employee receives moderate to limited supervision working from objectives set by supervisor. Employee organizes and carries out most assignments in accordance with standard practices, instructions, or previous training. Employee handles some unusual situations independently.
May interface with design team.
May work closely with BIM team and use modelling software.
May interact with Superintendents to address project questions/issues.
Assists with and monitors change orders
May assist with regulatory compliance and financial reporting
Review project costs and scheduling to ensure completion of project within budget and in conformance with contract.
Work with document control systems, project management systems and other software or databases to keep information flow up-to-date and accurate
Attend meetings and report on project tasks as needed
May provide technical direction and guidance to subordinate managers, enforces company and project policies.

AECOM Tishmans staff manages all consultants and contractors on a project, representing client interests throughout the project cycle. In total, AECOM Tishman has built more than 900 million square feet including the tallest building in the Western Hemisphere, One World Trade Center in New York.
Minimum Requirements
BA/BS + 2 years of demonstrated experience in construction work in MEP (mechanical, electrical, plumbing) an Assistant Project Manager or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education
Preferred Qualifications
BS/BA in relevant curriculum or demonstrated equivalent.
Experience working with MEP building and construction trades.
Experience in electrical, mechanical and plumbing construction projects
Experience working in interiors construction
Ability to read, draw and interpret construction documents.
Microsoft office suite proficiency (Outlook, Word, Excel)
