KPMG is currently seeking an Associate Director, Corporate Communications-ESG to join our Communications organization.
Responsibilities:
+ Develop and lead KPMG IMPACT's external and internal communications strategy, working closely across our functional (Audit, Tax, and Advisory), industry and corporate communications team to bring insights to the market and engage our partners and professionals
+ Work closely with our marketing and thought leadership teams to help develop integrated paid, earned, social and owned media strategies that differentiate KPMG in the market
+ Serve as a trusted advisor to KPMG leaders and interface directly with KPMG IMPACT leaders, along with leaders across the firm, including the Chair and CEO, to develop executive-level external and internal communication platforms
+ Coordinate across teams and directly manage a small team to develop and execute strategy; partner with social media team and marketing teams to drive social and digital media visibility for KPMG's leaders and the firm in the marketplace
+ Understand the media landscape, establish relationships and engage with reporters, bloggers and influencers by working with leaders at KPMG to develop compelling messages and thought leadership
+ Apply rigorous attention to research, data and metrics to monitor progress, incorporate insights and trends into communications strategies and drive meaningful outcomes
Qualifications:
+ Minimum eight years of recent experience working in communications; public relations agency experience preferred, but not required; marketing experience a plus
+ Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university
+ ESG communications or marketing experience and media relations and influencer engagement
+ Strong writing skills; project management skills, keen attention to quality, detail and timeliness
+ Ability to effectively team and interact with individuals at all levels across the organization including senior leadership
+ Proven technical aptitude and critical thinking; knowledge of MS Office and digital and social media channels
