**Summary** The Associate Director, Projects & Execution is accountable for leading data and advanced analytics projects. This includes managing the project team, facilitating requirements gathering sessions with business and technical users, reviewing source system layouts and schemas, analyzing requirements, creating a comprehensive strategy and roadmap to meet business needs, including project plans, release plans, staffing plans, status updates and change control processes. Work closely with leaders across Oncology Business Unit, Corporate and Global R&D organization to support and implement high-quality, data-driven decisions. He/she will work with system architects and project managers to ensure data integrations meet business needs, DSI technical standards, and operational support requirements and agreements. This individual will also manage teams of developers and consultants to plan, design, build, test and implement business intelligence solutions. The ideal candidate has a knack for seeing solutions in sprawling data sets and the business mindset to convert insights into strategic opportunities for our company. **Responsibilities** - Manage design, development and testing of data integration and business intelligence processes across Oncology Business Unit, Corporate and Global RD portfolio - Work closely with functional areas stakeholders to drive end to end identification, development and implementation of variety of business intelligence use cases with razor sharp focus to realize value from data science AI - Analyze project quality and take corrective actions when necessary. Identifies customer requirements in contractual documentation and ensures the project fulfills those requirements. - Manages software vendors and service providers to ensure compliance with quality, and service level requirements. Continuously evaluates service contracts to ensure maximum value. - Manage project budget for Business intelligence and data management projects. **Qualifications:** Successful candidates will be able to meet the qualifications below with or without a reasonable accommodation. **Education Qualifications (from an accredited college or university)** - Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. required - Master's Degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. preferred **Experience Qualifications** - 7 or More Years IT experience required - 7 or More Years hands-on experience in application development, Business intelligence, Data integration, Machine Learning, Artificial Intelligence and advanced analytics with emphasis on Microsoft Azure suite (examples are PowerBI, Azure Data Factory, Azure Machine Learning Studio, R and Python) preferred - 4 or More Years in a leadership role within IT in a Global Life Sciences organization required - 4 or More Years experience with cloud based tools preferred - 4 or More Years hands-on experience with enterprise data warehouse solutions including integration of complex data sources for the deployment of decision support systems required preferred - 4 or More Years experience with commercial pharmaceutical / business information (SHS, Veeva CRM, Veeva Network, etc.), supply chain, finance and HR.
