Auto req ID: 286213BR Job Description Main Purpose of Role: This role is the Site Services/Operations Lead for the NYC Global Design Center. The role is accountable for all IT Desktop and Executive Support at PepsiCo's Design and Innovation Center in New York, NY. This role works directly with SVP & VPs in this specialized center handling all IT Operations requirements. It is also responsible for 2nd level support across all Global Design Centers. This role requires a deep level of technical and digital expertise along with strong customer service skill set. The individual must be able to balance business requirements with IT standards, acting quickly to maintain the site as well as meet their increasing business demands. This role is both the Face of IT for Design Center and Voice of the Customer within IT. The person needs to be able to navigate PepsiCo business and technology processes effectively and efficiently. Additional Information for Site and Role: The Design Center in NY is the Global Design and Innovation Center for PepsiCo with 150+ end users using cutting edge technology. Ways of working include design thinking and agility. The role is an Operational Leadership and Support role that will interact with both business and IT leadership to support agile ways of working in this highly digital and specialized center. This role reports directly to the Director for CGF Sector CTO & Delivery. The role provides Site and End User Support, Escalation Management, as well as shares IT Standards and Best Practices. Provides Executive level support for SVPs and VPs within the office as well as while traveling to the center. The role will leverage digital and technical expertise for onboarding and supporting innovation hardware and software. Accountable for ensuring technology hardware and software requirements are being met for all Design end users. Primary end users at this site are Creative Marketing and Design Teams who utilize specialty hardware and software. Responsible for all end user support within NY Global Design office as well as provides 2nd level support and guidance to all Design Center users/offices within PepsiCo. Accountabilities: Drive IT operational excellence across site. Manage site expectations regarding technology and processes. Liaison to other IT Teams within CTO and DevOps (e.g. Network, Engineering, etc.) Partners with PepsiCo vendors to maintain network, storage, and video conferencing equipment. Serve as customer advocate and engage other IT teams managing and/or escalating issues through resolution. Establish trust with customer base and maintain confidentiality. Responsible for Operation Support of IT Hardware / Software at the site (e.g. printers, laptops, phones, iPads, Video Conferencing units, IT accessories, etc.) This includes everything from ordering through imaging, repairing and end of life. Maintains high performance laptops/desktops, high resolution displays, color calibrated network printers, large format plotters, 3D/UV printers, VR/AR hardware, Wacom illustration tablets, and Apple iPhones/iPads. Hands and feet at the site for other IT backline teams (e.g. Network, Video, Voice, etc.) This includes racking, stacking, patching, troubleshooting, etc. Perform testing and implementation of new technology. IT Operational Communication and Training with end users. Provide full-service support to executives while in the office as well as after hours. Provide support for executive meetings at site and offsite. Qualifications/Requirements Key Skills/Experience: Minimum 8 years IT support experience at a company of similar size and complexity as PepsiCo. Minimum 4 years support experience working directly with Executives. Proficient with both Apple MAC and MS Windows. Experiencing supporting and communicating IT technology to end-users . . . Standard and high-end Laptops & Desktops Print including 3D printers and centralized font management Mobile devices (e.g. iPhones and iPads) Global Design software applications (e.g. Graphic Design, 3D CAD, Animation, Illustration, etc.) Productivity applications (e.g. Office for Mac, Zoom, OneDrive, Apple iWork, Video Conferencing, etc.) Solid understanding of network infrastructure to proficiently assist with troubleshooting. College Degree and Technical certifications are preferred. CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+ Apple Certified Support Professional (ACSP), Apple Certified Macintosh Technician (ACMT) Jamf Highly motivated individual who is organizationally savvy and possesses an executive presence. Ability to coordinate and direct activities across multiple teams. Strong team/project management abilities. A strong leader with experience developing and bringing others along. Provide strong leadership presence among all levels within the organization. Excellent communication both written and verbal including Technical writing experience. Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, effectively multi-task, and make quick & confident decisions. Ability to bend, lift and carry up to 50 pounds.
