The Youth + Wellness Group (Cosmopolitan, Womens Health, Mens Health, Seventeen and Clevver) seeks an Associate Marketing Director for their national marketing team. The Associate Marketing Director will report directly to one of the Y+WGs Group Marketing Directors and will be responsible for the strategy, development, and activation of integrated marketing partnerships and added value programs for the Group. The Associate Marketing Director will collaborate with the sales team to create and activate strategic programs and experiences spanning all platformsincluding digital, social, in-magazine, events, and more.
What youll do:
Conceptualize, develop, and oversee the activation of partner-specific marketing platforms, such as digital/print/social custom content and native executions, customized experiences, and events
Communicate marketing concepts and programs by writing proposals, presentations, and sell-sheets
Work with client/category/industry data, insights, and research
Partner with range of stakeholders across the brand and company at large to provide leadership to variety of marketing initiatives targeted toward clients, prospects, and employees
Remain active with internal stakeholders throughout the process to provide status, issue escalation, alignment to strategic goals, and success metrics
Ensure that all marketing work meets the standards of the brands, and all aspects of written, design, and execution are of the highest quality
Manage key signature programs within the portfolio
Budget management, production timeline management, accountability and reporting
Develop relationships with third party organizations and vendors to enhance arsenal of integrated marketing offerings
Who you are:
A successful candidate will have experience in both the strategic and executional aspects of branding and communications, and have proven experience successfully delivering integrated programs within a fast-paced, environment.
Analytic, problem-solving, resourceful and strategic thinking skills
Experience in developing compelling integrated marketing programs; strong copywriting skills
Comfortable working in a fast-changing environment and juggling multiple priorities, and ability to operate in a team culture
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Positive, can-do attitude
Tenacity, passion and drive for results
An understanding of/interest in the editorial products and the youth and wellness industries are a plus
Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Keynote
Education: BA or BS, 4-5 years of related experience
