Our Madrid based TAG practice has very quickly earned an exceptional reputation for excellent work & they are highly active in Spain. Their work comprises Spanish situations and cross border activity in addition to international situations around the world.
We are ambitious and keen to grow our Spanish TAG team and so we are looking to hire an Associate or a Senior Associate with experience in Transactions Advisory to support our Directors & wider team. Successful candidates will deliver on Spanish and pan European projects to leading Private Equity clients, Financial Institutions and Corporates.
This is a unique opportunity to join an established & successful business in a new team and play an instrumental role in building a new practice area.
As part of a select and highly skilled team, you will have the opportunity to;
Work on multiple Transaction Advisory engagements in Spain and across Europe, working closely with our Directors & the wider TAG team
Work with a variety of large-cap and mid-cap Private Equity houses, corporate clients and financial institutions providing you with broad industry exposure
Gain constant exposure to our Directors, leveraging their substantial deal experience and be proactively involved in commercial, business development, and marketing
Use the commercial aspects of your financial analysis skills, in addition to gaining exposure to the key drivers and valuation considerations which drive a transaction
Work alongside operational and commercial professionals in combined project teams enhancing your understanding of the broader due diligence and wider deal process
Network internally with our service lines and work on external marketing events to build cross- service line relationships
Be active in the market, supporting and enhancing existing client relationships and in originating new client relationships.

Essential experience:
Strong educational background and exceptional academic record, including a strong focus on Finance and/or Mathematics
Transactions experience within a Big4 firm, Private Equity exposure is highly advantageous
Fluent business level English and Spanish is essential. Other European languages are high advantageous
