**Position Overview**


The Boeing Company is currently looking for an **Associate Structural Analysis Engineer** to join the Mechanical & Structures Engineering Team located at Bangalore, India. The specific job level is 2, which includes candidate within 5-9 years of experience depending on the educational qualification.


**Position Responsibilities:**


The successful candidate will perform the following duties:


+ Responsible for performing structural analysis of equipment and tool structures components, assemblies, and systems while working as an integrated team

+ Structural analysis includes determination of load cases, calculation of loads and static analysis of the structure

+ Partner with a senior analyst to perform analysis (e.g., stress, static and dynamic loading, vibration, etc.) of equipment and tool designs

+ Evaluate structural integrity of the components using building codes, ADM, AISC, classical hand calculations and finite element methods

+ Writes specifications and process documentation and develops stress templates and guidebooks for use by the general tooling community.

+ Support Gated Reviews to validate the quality and completeness of work packages

+ Familiar with code of federal regulations for warranting safety and regulatory compliance.


**Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience)**


Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Applied Mechanics/Structural engineering and 5 -9 years of experience in stress analysis.


4 or more years of experience analyzing structural members for static and/or fatigue capability.


1 or more years of experience using any software to review or build 3D solids (CATIA, AutoCAD, ProE, etc.)


**Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience)**


+ Experience working in an Equipment or Tool Engineering role

+ Experience in structural analysis of various metallic, composite and AM structures.

+ Robust understanding of engineering fundamentals such as material properties, Free-body diagrams, structural loads and, analysis methods

+ Experience in utilizing FEM software (e.g., RISA-3D, PATRAN/NASTRAN) to analyze building and tooling structures.

+ Experience in reading engineering drawings and utilizing CATIA/ENOVIA CAD systems

+ Candidate demonstrates excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

+ Good verbal and written communication skills to liaise with several Stakeholders

+ Ability to collaborate with both the engineering workforce and the mechanics on the factory floor

+ Ability to learn in a fast-paced environment


**Typical Education & Experience:**


Bachelors or Masters degree in Mechanical/Aerospace/Applied Mechanics/Structural engineering and 5 -9 years of experience in stress analysis.
