Essential Functions:
+ As the Azure Cloud Architect, you will develop cloud adoption plans, application designs, and deployment standards.
+ Work with business stakeholders to translate requirements into application architecture and automate infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and continuous deployment.
+ The Cloud Architect will provide guidance and technical support for assessing on-premises applications for migration to the Azure cloud.
+ The Cloud Architect will provide guidance and technical support for managing Azure APIM
+ The Cloud Architect will be responsible for the development of engineering and security artifacts and standards required for secure DevSecOps.
+ As the Cloud Architect, you will determine overall architectural principles, frameworks, and standards for our applications hosted in the Azure cloud.
+ Collaborate with our Software Development, Quality Assurance, and Project Management teams to solve difficult technical problems, define and deliver highly scalable cloud applications and make fact-based recommendations regarding tactical and strategic technology adoption for our team.
+ You will act as a mentor for team members on cloud adoption best practices as well as working to increase awareness of code quality, performance, APIs, deployment methodologies, and patterns of enterprise application design.
+ Promote, foster, and proactively implement agile best practices daily.
+ Experience migrating monolithic application code bases into SOA or Microservice designs and patterns.
+ Experience defining and building Service-oriented architectures
Qualifications & Required Skills:
+ 4-year University/College Degree or equivalent.
+ Advanced experience in Azure infrastructure (SaaS, PaaS, and IaaS).
+ Minimum of 5 years of experience as an enterprise architect or principal engineer with several years of experience building web applications in a high-level object-oriented language such as ASP.Net Core, C#, and .NET
+ Familiarity with Azure Sql
+ Hands on experience with SOA and/or Microservices Architecture using REST.
+ You are comfortable working in a full stack software development environment.
+ You understand web technologies: JavaScript, HTML, CSS, Databases, and Web APIs.
+ Must be willing to be elbows deep in code and teach industry best practices and patterns of enterprise application design to the team and product owners.
+ Solid understand of all phases of the web Software Development Life Cycle
+ Strong interpersonal skills and relates well with all levels of the organization.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
+ Deep understanding of digital platforms and technologies
+ Experience transforming legacy monolithic applications to a microservice based application
+ Experience is System Integration touch points API Gateway, ETL, WebServices (REST,SOAP)
+ Expertise in front-end technologies and headless architecture.
+ Knowledge of server-side programming languages including .Net, #C, .NetCore, Java, Ruby and Python
+ Strong experience with DBMS technology, including SQL Server, DB2 and caching mechanisms such as Redis.
+ Knowledge of UI/UX and basic prototype design
+ Experience in working within an Agile/SCRUM software development model
+ Ability to establish and manage your priorities.
+ Ability to adapt to changing roles and changing priorities.
