Vision Research is a Business Unit in the Materials Analysis Division of AMETEK, Inc. Vision Research manufactures industry leading high-speed digital cameras. Our cameras are primarily sold into industrial, academic, defense and government research facilities. We also have a smaller entertainment oriented camera business. The Camera Test Technician will be responsible to assemble, configure, test, diagnose, trouble shoot, and document various product lines. Will be required to read and interpreting prints, drawings, diagrams and modify components during the assembly process.
Responsibilities:
Configure, build, test, trouble shoot all product lines.
Provide detailed instruction and failure analysis for product
Maintain ERP Documentation
Inform supervisor and appropriate personnel through the use of the ticket system and or email of any problems which may be observed during the assembling, configuration, testing, and or troubleshooting processes
Responsible for following and maintaining processes as well as assisting in the creation of processes which may not have yet been documented
Participate in onsite Safety training
Maintain compliance with policies
Additional responsibilities as required
Requirements:
Associate or equivalent in Electronic Engineering
Strong soldering skills with Exceptional eyesight
Good verbal and written (English) communication skills
Computer Literate with office productivity applications
Self-Motivated
Beneficial Skills: Certified Electronic Computer Technician, interest in photography
