SIGN ON BONUS AVAILABLE $5,000 - 1 YEAR COMMITMENT $7,500 - 2 YEAR COMMITMENT Cardiovascular Technician - Cardiology MIddleburg, FL Location: Ascension St. Vincents Clay Hospital Department: Cardiology Additional Job Details: Fulltime 40 hour work week, typically 4 (10) hour shifts Rotating call; approximately 10-12 shifts per month; includes nights, holidays and weekends RCIS or RRT ACLS and BLS Unit Information: X Ray System: Phillips Specialities: Impella Inari Pneumbra Shockwave 2 Labs shared between Cardiology and Interventional Radiology. Will consider to train IR Tech into a CV Tech role. Team environment with cross training encouraged to support volume. Will consider highly motivated new grads from accredited programs. What You Will Do Assist with procedures to analyze, diagnose and treat the cardiovascular system. Prepare patients for procedures. Review medical history, position patients and clean/shave/numb testing sites as appropriate. Interpret, describe and report test results; recognize recording errors and artifacts and react appropriately. Monitor patient prior to, during and after procedures and promptly reports any abnormal findings in patient's condition. Prepare and maintain equipment, supplies and lab area. Ensure equipment is properly functioning. Report potential problems or equipment malfunction to appropriate personnel. Lock/tag out equipment if appropriate. Assist in maintaining a clean, and orderly department. What You Will Need Licensure / Certification / Registration: BLS Provider credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) obtained within 6 Months (180 days) of hire date or job transfer date required. One or more of the following required: Cardiovascular Invasive Specialist credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Cardiographic Tech credentialed from the Cardiovascular Credentialing International (CCI) obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date.Any specialty is applicable. Radiologic Technologist credentialed from the Florida Radiologic Technology obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date. Advanced Life Support credentialed from the American Heart Association (AHA) preferred. Education: High school diploma/GED with 2 years of experience, or Associate's degree, or Technical degree required. Additional Preferences No additional preferences.
