You will:

  • Lead programs from concept development to implementation.

  • Support validating ideas, drive business analysis required to bridge gaps between current and target operating models as well as develop execution plans.

  • Influence stakeholders and guide teams to collaborate to improve governance, efficiency, and risk processes.

  • Develop proposals and outline strategic enhancements to risk frameworks in collaboration with SMEs, credit experts and functional partners

  • Lead cross line of business and regional engagement for framework transformation through multiple platforms (e.g. Forums, working group sessions, and deep dives)

  • Drive strategy sessions with stakeholders to identify and understand current state business and technical process, procedures, and challenges

  • Develop creative solutions and approaches to problem solving that link results to business strategy (e.g., risk identification, portfolio monitoring, process automation etc.)

  • Lead implementation plan with functional support groups (Finance, Technology, Operations, Legal) to align on the transformation of risk frameworks

  • Conduct research and analysis on emerging risks, regulatory news, and industry trends to inform decision making

  • Drive internal analytics on credit risk indicators and portfolio impacts to support strategy recommendation

  • Design performance metrics, KPIs and executive presentation to communicate findings and program effectiveness to key stakeholders and risk leadership teams

You:

  • Have experience in credit risk management, wholesale banking products, Strategy or Product/ process transformation work experience (strongly preferred, at least 3 years)

  • Appreciate the value of working in partnership to influence change and accomplish our goals

  • Have demonstrated the ability to think strategically and innovatively, to develop creative solutions and new programs

  • Have achieved measurable results

  • Have strong verbal and written communications skills

  • Have experience working with complex data sets and analytics tools such as Tableau and QlikView

  • Can handle many different tasks and demonstrate a willingness to take on responsibilities that may fall outside your immediate area of expertise

  • Work independently and demonstrate leadership skills

  • Thrive when challenged to think thoughtfully and analytically so you can formulate solutions, present them to senior leadership and work to implement them accordingly

  • Are good at project management (this is a plus!)
